Dr Dre apart from being a music composer and a rapper, he’s an entrepreneur, an actor and a music producer.

Dr Dre has been around for a very long time ad he’s gotten so famous and settles as one of the highest earning rappers alive.

P Diddy is equally a topnotch American rapper but with skills in acting and designing men’s wear. He’s an entrepreneur, a successful musician and a top earning American rapper just like Dr Dre.

Dr Dre like was made known in the early parts of this post, has been around for a long time and has stakes in a couple of businesses. He has released hit singles and albums, won several awards, but that’s just the intro to the wealthy awesomeness of Dre.

The American rapper happens to be more, he’s an actor, an entrepreneur, an and also a producer who was born in South Central, Los Angeles, as Andre Romelle Young.

Ashort journey into his music career as a rapper, and he met a guy named Ice Cube, a rapper who eventually became his friend and lured him to join the rapper’s crew, N.W.A; a rap project.

In 1984, prior to becoming part of the N.W.A, he learned Disk Jockeying at nightclubs and was a skilled DJ. Under N.W.A, an album was released under Ruthless Records; the mother record of N.W.A which was headed by Eazy-E.

The album however was titled “Straight Outta Compton” and it topped charts and attained a record of one of America’s music history’s most crucial Hip-Hop album. Three years after being actively a part of the N.W.A, he left the rap project to cofound the Death Row Records with Sugh Knight.

Upon leaving the rap project N.W.A. to pursue a solo career for himself, he released his first solo album titled “The Chronic”. The album went on to top the third spot on the Billboard 200 and was a double platinum album in months to come.

He also established Aftermath Entertainment, a music label which would showcase the talents of booming American rappers like Eminem, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, The Game, Rakim and Raekwon. The music record label was founded in 1996, and was solely operated by Dr Dre. The record label has also signed acts like Kendrick Lamar, Jon Connor and Justus.

On his acting career, Dr Dre has featured in movies like Set It Off and other hit movies. He is the cofounder of a multi billion dollar headphone company known as Beats by Dre.

The company was cofounder by Interscope cofounder Jimmy Iovine. He owns 25% of and has stakes in Beats by Dre headphone company which was cofounded by himself but later sold out to Apple Inc for $2.6 billion dollars. Dr Dre has an estimated net worth of $780 million dollars.

P Diddy

P Diddy, also known popularly as Sean Combs and also as Puff Daddy is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur, record producer and businessman. He’s also known to be a fashionista who owns a functioning fashion line.

Birthed in Harlem on the 4th of November, 1969, P Diddy got to become famous as a party promoter while he studied at the Howard University, Washington D.C. Soon enough, he became an intern with the New York Uptown Records.

As an intern, he needed to be in his place of work, in New York City his birthplace, but he was a student studying in Washington D.C. This made him hightail by train multiple times in a week from Washington D.C. to New York City.

Soon enough, he dropped out of school and pulled his efforts into music entirely. Luck shun on Diddy and he emerged a top executive at Uptown Records. At this point, he managed music acts like Jodeci and Mary J Blige, and was in control of other top-level activities at the record house.

This luck dwindled and Combs got fired from Uptown Records, but this didn’t break him. Instead, he went on to establish his own music record label named Bad Boys Records and worked with artistes like Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, The Notorious B.I.G., Carl Thomas, Craig Mack and a number of other music acts.

Surprisingly, Combs’ debut single titled “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” rocked #1 spot on the Billboard 100 chart for six weeks. P Diddy’s debut album titled “No Way Out” was also gold. It earned him the “Best Rap Album” award at the 1998 Grammy Awards annual ceremony.

He’s an actor and has featured in a couple of movies. P Diddy’s name was shortened to just Diddy eventually after changing it from Puff Diddy to P Diddy. He earns from a couple of streams including his business ventures and music sales and deals.

These ventures include two restaurants, Bad Boy Entertainment Worldwide Company, his Bad Boy Records and fashion lines. Diddy has an estimated net worth of $820 million dollars.
