Diezani Alison has an estimated net worth of $2 billion dollars. She's a top politician in Nigeria, and has served as the Minister of different sectors of the country. 

Her earnings are big-time from politics, and she's earned several billions of naira ever since.

Diezani Alison-Madueke has houses in foreign states that run into millions of dollars, although some of these properties were seized by the Federal Government of Nigeria after charging her to court for money laundering.

She was born Diezani K. Agama to Chief Frederick Abiye Agama in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, on the 6th of December, 1960. She studied Architecture in England, and graduated from the Howard University, United States with a B.Sc on the 8th of December, 1992. 

In the same year she graduated from the Howard University, she travelled down to her country Nigeria and became part of the Shell Petroleum Development Corporation.

In 2002, Diezani went further educationally to obtain her MBA at the prominent Cambridge University. 14 years after becoming part of the Shell Petroleum Development Corporation, she was promoted to become the first female Nigerian executive director of the company.

In 2010, she served the country under the leadership and tenure of Goodluck Jonathan as the Minister of Petroleum Resources. 

She has also served as Minister of Mines and Steel (2008), and Minister of Transportation (2007). 

The Nigerian female political idol, Diezani Alison-Madueke was awarded in 2011 by the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, an honorary doctorate degree in Management Sciences.

On the 27th of November, 2014, she was elected president of OPEC, and was the first female president of the oil sector ever. 

On the 2nd of October, 2015, she was arrested in London and charged as being responsible for the embezzlement of $20 billion dollars from the petroleum sector.

She was also charged for financial misconducts, spending billions of naira on private jets, personal interests, and awarding contracts tied to billions without legal processes being followed. 

In short, the EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) charged her to court for Money Laundering.

In 1999 she tied the knot with her husband, Alison Madueke. Alison Madueke is a famed politician, and was at one time the Governor of Imo state, Anambra State, and Nigerian chief of Naval staff. 

They both have two sons: Chimezie and Ugonna Madueke.
