Wizkid is a top Nigerian musician with an estimated net worth of $25 million dollars. Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, YBNL boss Olamide and Efya were two artistes who Wizkid said would be featured in the album. He already had plans to release a Mixtape in 2013 just before releasing a second studio album. On the 26th of October in 2013, a second single off the album was released and this time, a hit was dropped. The single was titled “On Top Your Matter” and produced by top Nigerian producer Del B.
The music video for “On Top Your Matter”, which was shot in South Africa and directed by Sesan Ogunro was released on the 13th of February, 2014. In July 2014, Wizkid at The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos State, Nigeria, revealed to Toolz Oniru that he did a collaboration with Rihanna; the Barbadian songwriter and singer known worldwide. After several hard work had been put in place, Wizkid released the music video for “Ojuelegba” on the 5th of January in 2015.
The single was one of the songs in Nigeria that started the sound and paradigm shift in the industry of Nigeria. Ojuelegba narrates the hurdles and struggles Wizkid faced in the early days, and rising times. In brief, it’s a story about the music career of Wizkid, his rise from grass to glory. Rumours that Wizkid was no longer a signee under the EME music label which was run by Banky W at the time went viral after Wizkid made changes to his twitter handle and tweeted a msssgae that was below the threshold of perception.
It was reported that Wizkid left the EME label mansion and went to purchase his own mansion there in Lagos State, specifically in the area of Lekki Phase 1. In the midst of this, the Empire Mates Entertainment boss, Banky Wellington assured fans that nothing was going wrong under the label.
Later on, a report came in that the trouble with the label had something to do with money and that it all started in 2012 at the Empire Mates Entertainment all stars concert. On February 20, 2013, a solid information was delivered by Information Nigeria. The report narrated that Segun Demuren and Banky W got 50% of Wizkid’s performance, while Wizkid himself got 25%, making it 75% in total between Segun Demuren, Banky W and Wizkid.
The last 25% was channeled to Osagie; the former manager of Wizkid. Wizkid wanted a 50-50 income share with Banky W when he fired his manager Osagie and employed Godwin Tom; a manager he stopped working with in 2014, but Banky W wasn’t ready to take that deal from Wizkid, but was ready to find a manage who would accept 25% for Wizkid.

Wizkid Shocked in Ghastly Accident; Buys New Porsche Cayenne
On the 15th of June in 2013, Wizkid had an accident as he drove through the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos State, Nigeria. It was later reported by Silverbird TV that the star was hospitalized due to the shock from the accident.
