About Mr Eazi

Mr Eazi is a Nigerian songwriter, singer and entrepreneur birthed as Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade on the 19th of July, 1991. He's known to sing in a unique way he calls Banku Music; a music style which he named after a Ghanaian food known across Ghana as Banku.

However, Mr Eazi has managed to describe his Banku Music as a fusion of both Nigerian and Ghanaian sounds. He says it's formed using Nigerian chord progressions and Nigerian patterns with a blend of Ghanaian Bounces and Ghanaian Highlife.Quite fascinating isn't it?

In 2008, he went to base in Kumasi, Ghana. Later on, he applied at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). While studying at KNUST, Mr Eazi booked music artistes to perform at concerts in college.

His interest in music began to develop gradually as he featured in "My Life"; a song which gained massive airplays in campus. The song also gave Mr Eazi a bit of fame in college as he was known to book artistes and also feature in songs by collegians.

In July 2013, Mr Eazi released "About to Blow", his debut Mixtape. The release of the Mixtape gave him ears from other African States just before he hit the music scene so hard with the release of Skin Tight in 2015.

In May 2016, Mr Eazi signed a music contract with StarBoy Entertainment, a music record label founded by Popular Nigerian multiple award winning artiste Wizkid. On the 10th of February, 2017, Mr Eazi released his second Mixtape titled "Life is Eazi, Vol.1 – Accra to Lagos"
