Davido was born as David Adeleke Adedeji on the 21st of November, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia. He's a graduate and is musically inclined. Davido's beats are unique, and somehow, the wealth of his Dad aided in skyrocketing his career in music.

Months after signing a multimillion dollar music deal with Sony, he established his own record label named "DMW (Davido Music Worldwide)". In July, 2016, Davido went on to sign a music deal with Sony/RCA.

The Nigerian music star has bottled quite a number of multimillion naira endorsement deals with companies since he began his career. Most notable of the companies are MTN Nigeria and Guiness Nigeria.
