Stormrex is a Nigerian recording artiste, singer and songwriter with an estimated net worth of $115,000 dollars. She was birthed in Udi, Enugu State, Nigeria as Yvonne Akuabata Ogbuogu on the 18th of September, 1987.

Yvonne studied Biochemistry and obtained a degree in the course from the University of Science and Technology, Enugu State, Nigeria. Though Stormrex is a native of the Udi Local Government Area in Enugu State, she was raised in Enugu Coal City, Enugu State.

In 2007, she began her music career joining and performing with a female music band known then as The Desperate Chicks. The band released their debut studio album titled "Tell Them" in 2008 which was quite a huge success in the eastern region.

In 2011, Stormrex left the group to pursuant solo career. After leaving the group, she released her debut solo album titled "The New Storm". The album was not successful due to a lag in promotion, notwithstanding the featured vocals from Flavour N'abania.

She later went on to sign a record deal with Afro Gold Entertainment which she thought would propel her career insightfully. Under the Afro Gold Entertainment, her second studio album was released in 2014, which was titled "Freedom".

Stormrex is blossoming in the music industry as she has worked with popular musicians like Olamide, Flavour and Phyno. She's one of the best known female indigenous musicians who sings in Igbo language of Nigeria, and is often considered the Queen of Igbo.

She inked a record contract alongside popular Indigenous rapper Phyno with Penthauze Muzik in 2014. Rumour has it that the beautiful singer was dating Sullivan Chime; the ex governor of Enugu State.

Stormrex has been credited with notable awards like The Headies "Best R&B Artiste of the Year". She also won this title at the Nigeria Music Video Awards.
