Stonebwoy is a Ghanaian Afropop, reggae and dancehall musician with an estimated net worth of $5.5 million dollars. He was birthed in Ashaiman, Greater Accra, Ghana as Livingstone Etse Satekla and is the boss at Burniton Music Group.

Stonebwoy bagged the Best International Act: Africa award at the BET Awards. In the same year, he won the Artist of the Year award at the Ghana Music Awards. In Ghana, he's considered to top dancehall music act and also a reggae influence in the industry.

Stonebwoy started creating music in his school days while studying at Methodist Day Secondary School and obtained his High School Leaving Certificate from the same school. Interestingly, popupar Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, also schooled alongside Stonebwoy at the Methodist Day Secondary School.

In 2013, he graduated with a degree in Marketing from the University of Professional Studies. His name "Stonebwoy", which is his stage name, has been in use since he started performing as an underground rapper in Highschool.

He was highly motivated and supported by his family and this made him engage in rap competitions like the Kasahare Level rap battle aired on Adom FM.

The rap battle featured rappers like Dr Cryme, Sarkodie and other good rappers, but Stonebwoy was able to crush anlot of them and this got him the attention of Samini, who eventually signed him to Samini Music; a record label owned and operated by Samini. His first hit single titled "Climax" was released under the Samini Music record label.

The single shot him into limelight in no time as he featured the music label boss himself, Samini. He later dropped "Ghetto Love" where he featured Irene Logan.

The songs got him nominated for awards at the Ghana Music Awards. Stonebwoy dropped his debut album titled "Grade 1 Album" which drove his fame from second class to topnotch in the Ghana music industry. He went on to seal a deal with VP Record's division known as VP Africa in 2015, and has since been featured on several hit releases.
