Fola Adeola is a Nigerian politician and businessman with an estimated net worth of $150 million dollars. He was birthed as Tajudeen Afolabi Adeola and is married with six children to Hajara.

Fola is the Chairman of FATE Foundation which he founded, and a member of the Commission for Africa.

He obtained secondary school education at Methodist Boys Highschool in Lagos State, and in 1975 obtained a diploma degree in Accounting from the Yaba College of Technology.

In 1980, Fola Adeola became a chattered accountant after undergoing educational training from Deilotte, Haskins and Sell, and Dafinone & Company.

He's been trained professionally on the ethics of business at various institutes including the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland, and the Harvard Business School.

He also received training at INSEAD, a world-class business school. Fola Adeola undertook a research on economic development and job creation policies at National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos Plateau State, Nigeria in 1999 where he completed a year Sabbatical.

He has been awarded a number of times by dignitaries, and such awards include Banker of the Decade by Vanguard Newspaper Group in 2009, Zik Leadership in 2003, Change Makers in Social Entrepreneurship at ThisDay Awards, and a Yaba Tech award as a Distinguished Famous Alumni.

The successful businessman was honoured on the 2nd of December, 2002, by legendary Politician Olusegun Obasanjo as Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR). He was also honoured by the Nkumba University in Ntebbe, Uganda, with a doctorate degree.
