Yung6ix is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter with an estimated net worth of $1.5 million dollars. He revealed in an interview with NET in 2014 that his music deal with Kash Kamp Trick Billionaire Musiq (KKTBM) is worth about $500,000 dollars.

He has released hit tracks and made over N150 million naira from musix sales, event performances and collaborations. He wa birthed as Onome Onokohwomo in Warri and was also raised in Warri, a suburb on the Delta State, Nigeria.

Yung6ix is the first of five children in the family. He started with music at a very tender age and that's why he's so good at what he does now.

He organized and also joined rap battles back in the days while he was still in school, he also got the chance to mingle with friends who also have same vision and passion as his. This act made it possible for a group to the formed.

The group was known as G-squad; a music group that mainly performed at shows held in Delta State. He gained admission into the Oduduwa university upon graduating from his secondary school and relocating from his place of birth and hometown, Warri, to a more opportunities-packed region, Lagos.

Yung6ix is a dreaded rapper amongst others, his lyrics are unmatched and sometimes you wonder how he came up with the words in his rap. He was fondly called "6ixty" back in school days and that's where the inspiration to go by the name, Yung6ix, came from.

He continued doing music seriously in Lagos, releasing singles, one of which caught the interest of 411 Entertainment Boss, Gbemi Ereku.

Gbemi Ereku in 2009 signed Yung6ix into his record label, this was just the lift he needed to explode. The following year in 2010, he started making media headlines after he did his cover of Ice Prince's "Oleku".

The song gained massive airplays and on the net, was sought and went viral for like wildfire. Be released supportive songs including "Plenty Money" and "So Far Gone", which were tracks off his Green Light Green Mixtape.

In 2011, Yung6ix's record label, 411 Entertainment became affiliated to another music record label, Storm records, by signing a joint venture deal; a deal which would futher boost his music career and pull him more fame and money.

He worked with StarBoy Records Boss, Wizkid on one of his tracks, Follow Me, from his first studio album, he also dropped a fourth track titled "Oh My Gosh" from that same year. The song earned Ying6ix two nominations, "Lyricist on the Role" and "Best Rap Single" at the Headies 2012.

Being an artiste with acclaims already, he got featured on Rap King, MI's Illegal Music 2 and was nicknamed "King of the South" by Mr Incredible (Jude Abaga).

Yung6ix was nominated in 2012 in the category of "Most Promising Act" at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards, but he didn't win.

The award was snapped by female musician, Eva Alordiah. He dropped his debut studio album with 16 tracks in 2014 which featured appearances from other music stars like Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Phyno, MI and a few others. Yung6ix is an A-class rapper, with sound vibes and lyrics no joke.

In 2016, Yung6ix dropped hits like "Respek on My Name" and "Money is Relevant" which are still receiving critical acclaims from national and foreign music lovers.
