Microsoft could as well be the most valuable company the nearest future, as its worth propels towards $1 trillion. Currently, it's worth over $700 billion. Microsoft acquired Skype Technologies in 2011 for $8.5 billion, and LinkedIn in 2016 for $26.2 billion.
