The biography of Mairo ese

Mairo Ese is a Nigerian gospel musician and music composer. He was born as Okechukwu Ese in the 1980s in Lagos State, Nigeria. He turned to accepting Christianity at his teen age and realized he had a calling to become a worshiper.

Prior to understanding his calling, he had no passion for music. His passion for music sprouted after he gave his life to Christ and became a worshiper.

His worship is really connecting and not entertainment, not noise and is in line with God wants. Mairo Ese was once a chorister at his Church, he has served as a lead worshiper and then, a music director at RCCG spread branches.

Apart from serving at RCCG, he has also served at House on the Rock in Jos, Plateau State, and also, in denominations of House of Freedom.

Mairo has been graced to save lives and transform loves with music as he his the music director at This Present House, under the leading and anointing of Pastor Tony Rapu, one of the most recognized pastors in Nigeria.

He has ministered with a number of anointed singers, including Nathaniel Bassey, Tosin Martins, Cobhams, PITA, Glowreeyah Braimah, Lara George and a few others who happen to be well recognized and anointed. Mairo Ese is strongly affiliated with a couple of worship teams including True Worshippers.

He has gone to minister in music in several countries including Ghana, Uganda, United Kingdom, and Tanzania. His debut album, The Worship of Yahweh, was released in 2015, an album that took 10 years to cook up.

It was difficult in those 10 years for the singer but God saw him through and delivered live changing songs into his heart. Mairo Ese is known for singles like Ole Halleluyah, You Are the Reason, We Praise You and I Need You.
