Biography of Onos Ariyo

Onos Ariyo is a popular Nigerian gospel minister from a family of eight. Onos was born in Niger Delta Region, she's a graduate of French and also she's a French translator. She ventured into music and singing at age 8.

Onos is a sucker for God, a worship leader, mother and wife. She's a lead vocalist at the House on the Rock Church in Lagos. She is married happily to Mr Kunmi Ariyo (CEO of Mirus Events).

In the early days of her music career, her influences were Lauryn Hill, Fred Hammond, Mary Mary, Whitney Houston and other astounding singers. She has performed in concerts within the United States and Nigeria.

She's putting on a new ballgame already with her debut album titled "Keep Moving" which was released in February 28th, 2010.

Fortunately in the light of success, Onos has mounted same stage with Don Moen, Nathaniel Bassey, Israel Houghton, Fred Hammond and others at The Experience 2010.

Ariyo was part of the artiste line for The Experience 2014. Onos did a duo with Jessica Reedy at Eko Hotel and Suites in the commencement of the Corporate Elite Event in 2012.

She has been severally nominated for various awards in several categories. She has been a City People Awards 2013 and 2014 nominee, Nigeria Entertainment Awards nominee in 2013, African Gospel Music Awards nominee under "Best Female Artist" category in 2013 and "Artist of the Year West Africa" category in 2014.

Onos is an award-winning gospel artiste, she's won the "Best Female Vocalist" at the Nigeria Gospel Music Awards in 2012 and Crystal Awards in 2013.

Onos is the convener of "For The Love of The Season" event - a music and style show that brings out the best in the music and fashion world. She recently released her sophomore album which was titled "No Limits".

The album contains soul-touching hit songs like "Alagbara", "Victory Song" with featured vocals from Chevelle Franklyn, "Everything has changed" and more.

Onos took on a church tour in the year 2014. The tour was tagged "Onos Live in Concert" with its initiating edition at David Christian Centre, Amowu Odofin. The second edition took place at he Rock Foundation in Unilag.
