Lara George was born in Lagos State to Oluwole Bajomo. Lara attended Queen's College there in Lagos State, thereafter, she attended the University of Lagos and bagged her Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

The "Ijoba Orun" crooner, Lara George started her music career when she was in the University of Lagos. There, she joined the campus fellowship choir.
